In 1998 I began a quest to find a process that would recycle left over leather scraps used in the manufacturing process, the challenge was engineering a product that would meet our demanding specifications and that of the contract upholstery market. My search for sustainable materials for textile industry has lead me to Organics, the first recycled leather products available in the United States. Organics is manufactured from post-industrial leather containing 100% polyurethane topcoat that exceeded our goal. Our unique manufacturing process consists of a woven polyester center delivering high performance strength that exceeds traditional leather products. The polyurethane topcoat offers a protective coating against abrasion without compromising the softness you expect from the highest quality leather.
